Many people have probably experienced problems in packing a backpack, whether it’s for hiking, camping, or traveling anywhere. Having to pack all the necessary things into one bag is extremely difficult. Which one to put first, which one to put last, is so confusing. Just stuffing everything in, it’s not enough, it doesn’t fit at all.

Today, ยูฟ่าเบท we will introduce you to a method of packing your backpack in a way that distributes the weight, which not only helps to make the space in your bag fit more, but also fits your body shape and does not make your bag feel too heavy. This will definitely make traveling with a large backpack more convenient for everyone.

Record and classify. Make a list of what you need to bring and categorize it to prevent forgetting necessary items. After making a list of what to bring and sorting it, it’s time to choose what to put in your travel backpack. You don’t have to put everything you’ve listed in your bag, but you should choose small items to take with you to use or make things as small as possible. For example, roll clothes into the smallest size before packing them in your bag. Also, divide personal items such as liquid soap, shampoo, and cream into small jars or buy portable sizes to reduce the weight of your bag.

Place in the correct place. After preparing all your belongings, it’s time to put them in the bag.

  • Bottom of the bag – lightweight items: Pack lightweight, soft items that can support the weight of other items and are items you don’t need to use during the day.
  • Next up from the bottom of the bag – medium weight items: It will be items that are in large quantities. But not too heavy, such as various types of clothing such as T-shirts, jackets, pants, including shoes that are not use during the day. Fold, roll, and arrange them. But if we have so many items that they go up past our hips. We recommend adding more space in the bag by using vacuum bags to put clothes. Then you won’t have to worry about not being able to stuff them in.
  • Front of the bag – lightweight items: This part is like the center of the bag. Which should be placed close to the back, not too high or too low, so that you can use your hips to support it. This will make the bag not feel too heavy and pull you down, and prevent back pain.
  • Top of the bag – lightweight items: This section is where we put things that we need to use frequently. Such as wallets, mobile phones, sunscreen, power banks, hats, portable tissues, and other things that we need for our trip.

The total weight is not too much. It’s not like you can pack your belongings into a bag as tightly and as heavy as you want. Because if you do that, in the end you won’t be able to finish your trip. With back pain and shoulder inflammation for sure. In fact, the weight of the travel backpack after packing is complete. The backpack should not weigh more than 25% of the person’s weight. Because this is the amount of weight that the body can withstand for a long period of time without causing any negative effects on the different parts of the body.
